Looking for your next Assistant Site Manager role in Greater Manchester in a in a business that can offer you a simple chain of command, a relaxed non-PLC environment and the chance to take on brand new sites over the coming months? If so, then this site, in central Salford, which has around 6 months left to run and requires an Assistant Site Manager with at LEAST one year of management experience with a large housebuilder to bring a busy schedule to a conclusion, is a great place to get your foot into the door – especially as they’re offering a quick interview and start for the right person.
This family business, who go quietly about their work with none of the ‘in-your-face’ approach you get at some builders, are looking to supplement their existing on-site team with an Assistant Site Manager. You’ll have minimum 1+ years as an Assistant Site Manager ideally on several types of build, traditional, timber and/or steel frame covering house and apartment build and as the site is entering the final months of its build you’ll also have a strong finishing pedigree. The business are prepared to pay up to £32,000 plus a car allowance of £3,000 and then after this they have a very strong pipeline of brand new sites within the Greater Manchester area.
There's no ego's here and the culture is one of placing responsibility, not blame, on the personnel within the business. Over the last 4 years they’ve become one of the well known contractors in the Northwest, specialising in new build affordable homes, a lot of it repeat business for local housing associations, and are open to you coming from that type of background OR from a large open market housing developer.
Offering a package of early £30,000's plus car allowance, pension, a company-wide bonus and a general really great place to work (from my feedback on over 20 placements in the last 5 years), if you want a place realise your potential or if you’ve been stuck in a grinding machine elsewhere I’d say this is the place to be.
