Looking for your next Materials Buyer role in a business that can offer you a simple chain of command, a relaxed non-PLC environment and the chance to take on brand new sites over the coming months?  Then read on, do abit of nodding in between (“yes, this sounds like me”) and pick up the phone at the end.

This family business, who go quietly about their work with none of the ‘in-your-face’ approach you get at some builders, are looking to supplement their existing team with a Materials Buyer.  They are a small, close-knit team in the office and as the second Buyer coming into the business you'll have used COINS in your current or recent job (if you're an experienced Assistant Buyer looking to step up, we can still talk).  

There's no ego's here and the culture is one of placing responsibility, not blame, on the personnel within the business.  They really only fully established their Procurement department at the start of  2020, an experienced gent joining as Procurement Manager who's looking to establish you within the business.  With you being from a housing background having worked for a large contractor or developer, they'll also want to lean on your experience to suggest adjustments and tweaks to their current set-up for plant details and call-offs - if this is a speciality of yours then we can set up an interview quickly.   

Offering a package of early £30,000's up to £40,000 plus car allowance, pension, a company-wide bonus and a general really great place to work (from my feedback on over 15 placements in the last 5 years), if you want a place realise your potential or if you’ve been stuck in a grinding machine elsewhere I’d say this is the place to be.
