What do you call yourself? A Man in a Van? Customer Care Operative? Customer Services Technician? Maintenance Man? The ‘Sh*t on Site’ Sorter? WHATEVER your title, what you do is paramount to getting a good quality house either handed over or sorted out once people have moved in. The family business who build these affordable units in the Greater Manchester area would like to speak to you about coming into their business on a permanent basis.

They build houses, apartments and care homes for local housing associations, a mixture of old clients who’re coming back because of the quality and relationship they’re fostering and new clients who’re coming to them via word of mouth. They need a good all-round Multi-Skilled Tradesman to come into the business on a permanent basis to fix up, iron out and smooth over any issues arising on their units both before and after handing over.

If you have a good degree of knowledge in joinery, plastering and patch plastering, painting and decorating, tiling and kitchen/bedroom fitting and some in plumbing and have worked on getting housing stock up to scratch, then this is likely to suit you.

With a good continuation of work, salary up to £34,000 plus a van and a great environment to work in (don’t ask me, ask the 15 or so permanent members of staff I have working there) then this is a great place to continue your career in new build maintenance.
