Development Engineer

An independent housebuilder based in the Preston area of Lancashire are looking to hire a Development Engineer to bolster their experienced Technical team to deliver high-end traditional build family homes in the Northwest of England.

Joining an established team who have worked together for many years, you’d be bringing your expertise from an Engineering perspective from design stage to roads, sewers and foundations to the life-cycle of the build, together with in-house and external partners, predominately on 3 and 4 bedded houses in the Lancashire areas, to deliver houses up to 1 million in value.

There is growth within the business at present as they take advantage of a strong pipeline of work and they’re offering flexible working in that they’ll look at a broad range of skillsets – if you’ve only worked consultancy, get in touch, if you’re got the experience at contractor level, I’m happy to speak to you and if you’ve already worked with an open market housebuilder this would be a good move.

They’re offering a salary from £50,000 onwards and this is negotiable, if this is a major driver we can discuss more, and a 10% bonus and car allowance attached to this. They’re not a PLC so you’re given more time to bed in and prosper and interviews and start dates are immediate for the right person.
