Quality Control Inspector’s needed….
It’s been a tough time in the industry over the last 3 years. Covid came in which gave businesses, especially the larger builders, a good time to re-set and plan better welfare for their staff. However, targets and inflation have put all that on the backburner and from where I sit there’s been an awful lot of Senior Site Managers taking a sidestep out of management and into roles like Clerks of Works and the Quality Inspector role I’m recruiting for.
These guys and girls are stepping into Quality Control Inspector roles to improve their daily working life, to stay in the industry they love without all the crap they’d be getting from above and to join businesses that are not putting unfair demands on their staff.
I’m therefore looking to speak to candidates either from a Site Management background or someone who’s worked for a warranty provider or building control who’re now looking to join a family firm who are keen to push quality but less keen to push their staff’s mental wellbeing and who want some of the above improvements to their working life.
They’re an expanding business, have up to 15 sites all based around Greater Manchester and are based in Manchester with a growing reputation amongst housing associations as ‘the go-to contractor to build affordable homes’.

Summary:
2 x Quality Control Inspector’s wanted for growing Manchester based new build housing contractor.
Sites range from Blackburn down to Stockport and are primarily in Greater Manchester.
Preferred candidates come from a building, warranty or inspector background and have knowledge of LABC and NHBC regulations.
Salary up to £40,000 plus car allowance/car and quick start and interviews for the right person.
