Looking for your next Manchester based Site Manager role a Greater Manchester business that can offer you a simple chain of command, a relaxed non-PLC environment and the chance to take on brand new sites in the future due to an excellent pipeline of work?  If so, this would be an excellent opportunity for you to get your foot in the door as I’m recruiting for a Site Manager for an affordable site in Gorton which will consist of 31 traditional build apartments spread across two blocks and 6 timber frame houses with an expected build time over 1 and a half years.

Ideally, you’ll have minimum 2+ years as a Site Manager ideally covering house build and apartment build with these sites ranging from 30-60 units.  This family business, who go quietly about their work with none of the ‘in-your-face’ approach you get at some builders, are looking to add 2 x Site Managers to their team with an additional one in Stalybridge bridge (that person needs steel frame experience).

There's no ego's here and the culture is one of placing responsibility, not blame, on the personnel within the business.  Over the last 4 years they’ve become one of the well-known contractors in the Northwest, specialising in new build affordable homes, a lot of it repeat business for local housing associations, and are open to you coming from that type of background OR from a large open market housing developer.

Offering a package of early-to-late £40,000's plus there’s a car allowance on top plus pension, a company-wide bonus and a general really great place to work (from my feedback on over 20 placements in the last 5 years) the biggest compliment I can give them is that employees don’t tend to move on from this business – they must be doing something right.
